The MASIR 225 (225 square ft. (1800 cubic feet) is a “super isolation room”. It is a panel built, modular secure environment, three (3) four stage MAHS’, Room Pressure monitor/controller, K-CON/PBI insulated walls, ceiling, SS air diffusers for specific air flow control and all standard infrastructure required for daily incoming mail handling and sorting of up to 3-5,000 letters/packages per day. Provides 30 ACH standard, or if required, 60 ACH in emergencies.

Medical Air Solutions, Inc. has entered into strategic alliances with several companies who manufacture components of these special panel built stand-alone, sealed “super isolation room” quality (30 ACH, 60 ACH in emergencies) mail receiving, pre-sorting and inspection rooms. We have combined our special capabilities in air handling and purification, with our vendors to produce an extremely efficient and safe panel built long term environment for mail handling personnel. We can provide a turn-key conversion of an existing room or a fully stand-alone room (indoors or outdoors) for any hospital, government institution, corporation or city, county, state governmental facility concerned with long term handling of incoming mail security and safety. The MASIR-225 is presently on GSA contract as well as any customize sized or configuration room. These customized rooms can be designed to meet the customer’s specific needs and mail volume. A customized MASIR is identified by a “C” (for custom) after the square foot designation of the unit.

As an example; the standard MASIR 225, a 15’ W, X 15’ D, X 8’ H, (225 sq ft, 1800 cubic foot), is a completely fitted out, stand alone room to accommodate up to 3.000 to 5,000 pieces of mail daily. It consists of: Work room/building (indoor or outdoor) (prefabricated), doors, walls, roof/ceiling, ducts, walk-in storage area, interior exhaust SS grills and diffusers, Micro Air Handler Systems with their electronic controls, a room pressure differential monitor with alarming capabilities, a commercial mail splitter, (or supply your own) tables, insulation, HVAC, electrical installation and complete setup ready to occupy. There are many additional options available such as: fire suppression systems, penetration alarm systems, stand alone emergency power generation, emergency lighting, etc.

We can provide a turnkey conversion of an existing room (2 wall or 3 wall) or a fully stand-alone room. These rooms are custom designed to meet the customer’s specific needs and mail volume requirements. Therefore, pricing is determined on an individual basis for customized units.

EPICÔ Emergency Preparedness Isolation Center

Medical Air Solutions, Inc. has entered into strategic alliances with several major companies who manufacture components of a panel built stand-alone, sealed isolation rooms We have combined our special capabilities in air handling and purification, with our vendors to produce an extremely efficient and safe, panel built, long term, environmentally safe, building for emergency preparedness isolation capabilities.

We can provide a turn-key conversion of an existing land, preferably near or next to existing emergency room facilities. The EPIC 1800 can be utilized to siphon off the minor emergency cases of an already overloaded ER department when no call upon to process bio-contaminated populations in the event of a bio-terrorist event. These customized buildings can be designed to meet the customer’s specific needs and requirements while meeting state health department and Homeland Security Department standards.

The EPIC 1800 (1,800 sq. ft.) This basic model is an independent outside air secure negative pressure isolation building. It is a panel built, modular secure independent unit which can be finished with fasciae matching the main buildings décor. The unit is designed to accommodate emergency response to a biochemical or radiological attack on the general populace.

This system provides for a 20 bed secure area plus administrative space as well as de-contamination facilities for large groups people. Because it is modular it can be built up to 100,000 sq. ft. in size depending upon local requirements. The system driving the air purification feature of this building is multiple AirShield 3500, a four (4) stage multiple outlet MAHS. A 55% anti-microbial treated pleated pre-filter, a HEPA 99.99%, primary filter, an activated carbon filter, and UVGI comprise the four stages. The pressure monitor and controls are achieved with the TRRM room monitor/controller module. Negative pressure is maintained at 0.010” WC or greater which exceed OSHA standards for isolation rooms and comply with present JCAHO guidelines generated by AIA. K-CON’s honeycombed insulated walls, ceiling, and Price Stainless steel multi-directional air diffusers for specific air flow control make up the critical components of the EPIC.
