BioSecurity Units Iowa State
University tested our filtration systems extensively for effectiveness in
killing molds and bacteria, passing through our system. The test results showed
virtually 100% effectiveness. How the Bio-Security System Works Our system cleans the air by drawing it first through a pre-filter to capture dirt. The first set of anti-microbial UV-C elements then breaks up the DNA of the virus, bacteria or mold. The air is then drawn through our Catalytic Reaction Chamber® which incinerates pathogens. At the same time, the second set of anti-microbial elements works in tandem with the first set of elements to create a photo-catalytic reaction with the Catalytic Reaction Chamber®. As a result, the chamber's hydroxyl radicals incinerate the airborne pathogens (virus, bacteria and mold) that pass through it. In addition, the system effectively removes toxic gases and odors. Furthermore, we strategically place the equipment so that we clean as much ambient air in the system as possible. Finally, we size the system to provide a minimum of 12 air changes per hour but in many cases we will plan for even more depending on the area to be protected. Although we cannot claim any specific capabilities of our filtration systems at this time, our broad experience in the air filtration industry can help you protect your environment from biological and toxic chemical agents, along with VOCs and other contaminants within your facility or workplace. Below are the 4 standard units that are available. If you have a specialized application where you need a larger system, we can do that! We can design and manufacture units up to the size of an air handling unit. Call at 800-645-1059 for more information.
