CORAD Air Purification Systems |
To obtain a clean environment, must take into consideration
many more aspects than conventional HVAC design situations. In this type of
design, such as a surgical suite, particular attention must be placed on
airflow pattern control and removal of particles and micro-organisms from the
space.
In order to remove undesirable contamination from a room,
clean air is supplied through the ventilation system in a clean space
installation. Typically, supply air is pre-filtered at the main air handler,
and in some cases (for higher cleanliness levels) higher efficiency filters
clean the supply air at the terminal air diffusers. This provides a means of
controlling the particles which enter the clean space from sources outside the
room.
An operational environment can also generate particle
contamination from sources within the space. Particles can emanate from
people, equipment and surface shedding. Airflow design within a clean space is
used as an aid to remove contamination from these internal sources.
Airflow pattern control is unique to each type of application.
We offer a variety of products which meet the air
distribution requirements of modern hospitals and medical facilities.
The CORAD Systems are designed for the critical Operating Room
(Class A, B or C) environment. It may also be utilized for other applications
such as: Intensive Care Units, Protective Environments, Burn Wards, Recovery
Rooms, etc.
