Description

Mail Inspection Room

1

An inexpensive, pre-fabricated, custom made room that is sealed with weather resistant silicone rubber sealant.  It comes complete with electrical service, doors and windows.  It usually sits on an existing concrete pad, but can be ordered with a floor.  It can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Walk-in Storage Area

1

For temporary incoming mail storage.  Some treated mail will have an odor from radiation processing.  The wall APS will exhaust the odor and capture any residual pathogenic material or particulates that may be present.  This hood may also be used to open large packages.

In-Duct APS Units

3

These units will capture (HEPA filter) and kill (UVGI) any pathogens drawn from the room.  Areas outside the room are, thereby, not affected.  They are regulated by a password protected monitor/controller next to the main door.

Room Monitor

1

Monitors and maintains negative pressure in the room.  It will also automatically ramp up the speed of the in-duct units to maintain negative room pressure when door opens, keeping outside areas secure.

Stationary Inspection Model

1

This unit can accommodate a mail slitter and has a side door to insert mail trays and bags.  Comes complete with it's own table.

Mail Slitter (Optional)

1

Can open 37,000 pieces of mail per hour.  This will be much less due to the physical inspection, but a skilled inspector will not be bottle-necked by having to wait for mail to be opened.

Work Tables (Optional)

2

One table for the inspection and one for processed mail.

Diffusers (2) and Exhaust Grilles (3)

1 Set

From the industry leader, Price.  Will direct airflow within the room to eliminate "dead spots" and also regulate air supply into the room.

Contractor Services

1

MAS will provide a contractor to erect the building and install the equipment (or, you can use your contractor or maintenance personnel  and we'll simply provide equipment and drawings so that you can do the job).

Construction Supervision and Testing

1

We supervise, inspect and test all aspects of the project.  We aren't done until everything works as advertised.
