This newly designed UVGI germicidal sterilizer wall fixture unit controls airborne pathogenic particulate including, viruses, mold spores, bacteria and other airborne pathogenic material in the upper room atmosphere of ceiling to wall corners where there is likely to be stagnant or dead air spots.  They are designed to reduce upper air contamination.  It complies with the July 1, 2006 RoHS, Article 95 “Green” equipment initiative.

These units are designed to mount on room walls above the height of seven feet, so as to not endanger personnel exposure to the UV-C energy. These attractive 120-volt, 60-Hz, 0.5 A., (optional 220 volts, 50 Hz) units incorporate a single UV-C 36W lamp which will protect and cover 240 square feet.

This wall mounted unit meets or exceed the newly published data generated by the 6 year study conducted at Colorado State Univ. under the auspices of NIOSH for the CDC.  The study conclusively determined the use of UV-C in the upper air levels of isolation rooms contributes significantly to the reduction of Tb and other viral infectious contaminants.  The outcome of this study was announced in NIOSH’s publication update dated April 29, 2003.

This Corner mounted unit also meets or exceed the newly published data generated by the 6 year study conducted at Colorado State Univ. under the auspices of NIOSH for the CDC. This unit will fit easily into the corner of the room where air mixing is least effective.
