Sputum Booth

This contemporary newly designed, secure, Tb sputum collection booth is the result of years of experience in designing and manufacturing negative pressure, ancillary, motor/blower, HEPA , aerobiological purification systems for medicine. This attractive, German designed, interlocking panel booth can easily be adapted from a mobile unit with its 4 three inch locking rubber mounted casters to a stationary unit by simply removing the casters from their leg stanchions. Its dimensions offer ease of placement in either an average sized patient or treatment room or bronchoscopy suite.

The ASSB500 meets all of the sampling protocol environment requirements established by the CDC, OSHA, and FDA for such collection activity. It is designed to maximize protection of the healthcare worker (HCW) with the latest technology available. Its airflow dynamics from the ground level upwards thru the unit’s antimicrobial MERV-7 pre-filter to its MERV-18 HEPA filtration exhaust system meets CDC recommendations. The ultraviolet-C sanitizes the capture (proximal) side of the HEPA filter for additional safety. An optional upper room corner wall mounted UVGI module is available.
