Medical Air Solutions offers reliable, contemporary engineered, medical-grade, Air Purification Systems (APS) to ensure that your pharmacy compounding areas (CSP), isolation rooms, ER areas, surgical suites, bronchoscopy lab, pathology lab or any other critical areas are operating in accordance with CDC guidelines, JCAHO/AIA/USP <797> standards and OSHA regulations.

The modular design of our "AirShield^TM" APS ensure uniformity in the installation and operation of these systems.  These stand-alone systems provide the optimum design for providing negative or positive pressure room environments.  They provide security by not being dependent on house air handler units which by their nature require changing air delivery at various times of the day.  Critical care areas require consistent and continuous air delivery guaranteed only by individualized motor blower HEPA filtration.

·         In 1999, Medical Air Solutions defined and created the phrase “medical-grade” to air purification systems. The definition:  An air purification device that is individually tested with a laser particle counter to confirm a 99.99% total system efficiency.  Additionally, the unit shall be tested to confirm actual CFM delivery with all air filters (stages or elements) in place. Each unit is delivered with a certificate showing its confirmed total system efficiency and air delivery.  Many use the term without individual testing or providing the certificate required to confirm the product as truly being “medical-grade” by this definition.  Medical-grade is the highest grade given to any air purification system including such classifications as pharmaceutical-grade, or surgical-grade.
