AS1000MG Mobile Units

AirShieldä aerobiological purification systems provide innovative concepts with 21^st. century technology for resolution of contaminated air. They comply with RoHS, Article 95 “Green” equipment initiative. The easy to use completely self contained AS1000M is a heavy duty mobile, medical-grade*, multi-stage (3) HEPA filtration system designed to remove airborne micro-contaminants including; bacteria, viruses, mold spores, dust, etc. It meets and/or exceeds OSHA and CDC Tb guidelines to create or upgrade AIA defined AII (airborne infectious isolation) rooms.

It can be used for negative pressure or as a general area recirculating system such as ER waiting rooms, etc.  It can provide 12 ACH in a 5,000 cu. ft. room and has a small footprint saving floor space.

Each unit manufactured is individually tested and certified to meet product specifications before it can be shipped. The unit must achieve 99.99+% total system efficiency before being released for sale. Each unit is shipped with a certificate attesting to the precise efficiency of that unit as identified by it’s serial number. These models are ideal for large areas such as increasing surge capacity isolation wards or ER waiting rooms that require re-circulation of HEPA filtered air.

Access to filters and UV-C lamps is in the rear of the unit allowing for an aesthetically uncluttered looking system. A barrel slot key lock is required to gain access to this rear door, thus preventing unauthorized personnel from tampering with the system.  An internal integral safety switch de-energizes the unit when the access back door is opened.  The AS1000MG is designed to be quickly convertible from a recirculating system to a negative pressure device via a 12 inch flanged collar assuring a comfortably quiet operating system (the larger the duct, the quieter the system).  There is no extra cost for this feature.

The AirShieldä AS625P-UV is a portable system capable of being used as a recirculating unit or it can be used to create a negative pressure atmosphere in a room.  This unit is designed to be aesthetically pleasing while providing features and options that make it a very versatile air purification system.  This medical grade system has been rated by CMS as a Class II Medical Device.

·         In 1999, Medical Air Solutions defined and created the phrase “medical-grade” to air purification systems. The definition:  An air purification device that is individually tested with a laser particle counter to confirm a 99.99% total system efficiency.  Additionally, the unit shall be tested to confirm actual CFM delivery with all air filters (stages or elements) in place. Each unit is delivered with a certificate showing its confirmed total system efficiency and air delivery.  Many use the term without individual testing or providing the certificate required to confirm the product as truly being “medical-grade” by this definition.  Medical-grade is the highest grade given to any air purification system including such classifications as pharmaceutical-grade, or surgical-grade.
