Hospital Construction Particle/Pathogen
Abatement
Any type of construction or renovation can cause dust or can
liberate mold/fungal spores. JCAHO requires that an ICRA (Infection
Control Risk Assessment) be conducted before work is begun
to minimize the exposure risk of these kinds of particulates to patients and
staff.
MAS carries a full line of equipment for the
healthcare institution or the healthcare contractor. We are displaying our air
purification equipment here, but, we can supply all the necessary equipment for
contractors to ensure that proper measures are in place to reduce the risk of
causing health problems in and around the work area.
We can provide this equipment to any contractor that has a
need for these devices. Please call if you need additional equipment or

AirShield 500CAP & 500G-CAP These units has a maximum of
500 CFM and can be used to create a negative pressure area. They have
the required number of filters to meet the JCAHO/AIA standard for
construction APS in a healthcare environment. The AS
500CAP is used in areas where dust, dirt and mold are of concern.

remove noxious chemicals and gases.

2000 CFM and can be used to create a negative pressure area. They have

This unit ,upon request, can also be fitted with a blower to achieve 6000
