Emergency Bioterror Airborne Pathogen Containment

Mobile and portable APS can be utilized to provide a negative pressure environment in emergency situations or as recirculating air purification devices to remove viruses, bacteria, spores and dust. The models below can achieve that goal and can also be used in the hospital, office or home.

AirShield™ Model AS1000MG Mobile HEPA Filtration Units

AirShieldä air purification systems provide innovative and current technology for resolution of contaminated air. The AS1000MG is a mobile, medical-grade*, multi-stage HEPA system designed to remove airborne micro-contaminants including; bacteria, viruses, mold spores, dust etc. The AS1000MG can provide 12 ACH in a properly sealed negative pressure 5,000 ft.³ room. (this equates to 20’W x 21’D x 10’H {to the hard ceiling}) room. It combines dual blowers, an ASHRAE 30% antimicrobial pre-filter, a 99.99% HEPA filter and, optionally, four (4) UVGI lamps generating 39,948 µWsec/cm² of UV-C irradiation to the capture side of the HEPA filter providing exceptional air cleaning ability and 100% total system efficiency.

This unit can be utilized for recirculating or negative pressure. The unit can be changed, in a matter of minutes, from a recirculating to a negative pressure unit to create a negative pressure room environment.

These units can also incorporate UVGI for personnel protection and can be easily moved from one area to another.

HealthPro Portable HEPA Filtration Unit

Efficiency statements of many air cleaners look impressive at first glance. Air cleaners with HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters often advertise efficiencies of 99.97% for particles of 0.3 microns (that’s about 240 times smaller than the width of a human hair) and larger. However, these claims are based on the theoretical efficiency of the HEPA filter material used and not the actual clean air produced by the air cleaner. System leakage and inferior construction can reduce the actual particle filtration efficiency, also known as entire system efficiency of HEPA air cleaners, to less than 70%.

These medical gradeä, modular units can provide superior air cleaning while looking good at the same time. These units have passed the stringent EN 1822 standard in the EU. An excellent choice for maintaining outstanding IAQ!

Certificate of Performance
In an industry where most air cleaners don’t actually meet the manufacturers’ claims, tests and certifies each and every HealthPro. In our state-of-the-art Swiss production facility, each HealthPro is tested for particle filtration efficiency, filter leakage and air delivery. Each HealthPro comes with its very own two-page Certificate of Performance, detailing the test results for that very machine. Our quality control engineers only approve products that pass our stringent testing. That’s how serious we are about real performance.

The AirShield AS625P (625 CFM throughput) is a medical grade, portable, system capable of being used as a recirculating unit or it can be used to create a negative pressure atmosphere (with the negative pressure hood attachment) in a room. This unit is designed to be aesthetically pleasing while providing features and options that make it a very versatile air purification system. This medical grade system has been rated by CMS as a Class II Medical Device.
